Our Story

Rolling Hills Collectibles didn't start with trading cards — it started with friendship.

Back in 2008, Matt and Adrienne met in high school and quickly became best friends. Between late nights playing RuneScape and talking basketball, a lifelong partnership began to form. After graduation, they left the rolling hills of Vinton for Columbus in search of opportunity and new beginnings.

In 2020, with their first baby on the way, they felt called back home.

Then in 2024, something unexpected happened.

During the Pokémon 151 era, they were reintroduced to the hobby that had quietly shaped so many childhood memories. Matt began streaming on TikTok under the name "Charmander Shimmy," and the love and encouragement from the Pokémon community was overwhelming.

That's how Rolling Hills Collectibles was born.

More than just a card shop, it's a reflection of where they started, the community that shaped them, and the passion that brought them home.

We dreamed of creating a place where collectors of all ages could find quality cards, share their passion, and feel at home. That dream became reality when we opened our doors in the beautiful Hocking Hills region.

Every booster pack opened, every rare find, and every customer who walks through our door reminds us why we do what we do.
